Between Sandy's recent scare with breast cancer and the phone calls we get daily for breast prosthesis, has inspired Sandy to re-start a Knitted Knockers group on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month from 1pm - 3pm

There is a huge need to keep our supplies of prosthesis filled.  Please join her in helping with this cause.  Yarn, pattern, and support will be provided, so just come with your needles or hooks ready to make some Knit/Crochet Knockers.

As a side note, Sandy's health is great, and she thanks us all for the power of prayer that helped lead her to a negative diagnosis.

Featured class of the month:

Fair Isle Technique

Instructor:  Sheila Joynes                                          Class Fee:  $45

Sheila_FIClassDescription:  Sheila Joynes, author of the best selling Leisure Arts book, "I Can't Believe I'm Fair Isle Knitting" will teach you the basics of two handed, stranded color knitting called Fair Isle. Sheila will share the best cast on technique for corrugated ribbing to help prevent those unsightly puckers in your purls. Do you know where and how to join yarns to prevent having to weave in all the endless ends created in Fair Isle? Do your attempts at Fair isle knitting create a puckered project? The technique taught in this class will show you how to knit Fair Isle without endless ends and those puckers. Class projects are a Fair Isle cowl and hat. **Continental knitting technique highly recommended.** (2) two-hour sessions for a total of 4 hours of instruction.
