Knitted Cotton Breast Prosthesis
Knitted Knockers is the affectionate name given to the hand knitted and crocheted breast prostheses by the commuity of women who regularly gather at our yarn shop to make these comfortable alternatives to silicone implants.
Knitted Knockers has been designated by Debbie Macomber as one of the three organizations to distribute donations in her 2012 Knit1, Bless2 charity outreach program. Lighthouses are a symbol of the seashore all over the world, including Debbie's fictional town of Cedar Cove. A Good Yarn Shop partner Sandy Payne has designed a lighthouse block that can be used as an afghan square or pillow top. Knit it in cotton for a summertime dishcloth, too.

Cedar Cove Days Knit Scarf An exclusive design by Leisure Arts (September 2009)
Leisure Arts has generously given us permission to publish the pattern for the Cedar Cove Days scarf, knit from two skeins of Cascade 200 superwash yarn. This pattern has a beautiful lace center panel with cables flanking it on either side, and will be a lovely gift to knit for the upcoming holidays.
